Prior to this blog, I tried to keep a journal on several different occasions. Their downfall, I think, was a lack of an audience. To this day, I don't know how Doogie Howser did it without just giving up.

Sweeps Continues...

I'm amazed by how many people actually watch Joan of Arcadia. On 21 November, it was the second most watched show in prime time at [8.6/14]. The only thing more surprising, was that JAG took the number one spot with [9.6/15].

To no one's surprise, Joe Millionaire: An International Affair only managed [5.9/8] on 24 November, and was beat out by 7th Heaven and the family edition of Fear Factor.

25 November's numbers were better for FOX. The American Idol Christmas Special managed [7.9/12], which helped FOX beat out NBC for the number three spot (FOX only had two shows, Am Idol and 24, whereas NBC had three: Queer Eye, a Shania Twain concert, and Law & Order: SVU. While the share was the same, FOX had the higher rating by 0.3).

2 December finds FOX in the number three spot, once again. NBC's Law & Order: SVU lept up to [11.5/17], claiming the title of number one show. Number two show was snatched up by FOX's, The Simple Life, at [9.3/13]. CBS's JAG [9.2/13] rounded out the top three. FOX's overall overnight for 2 december was [7.6/11].
