Changing the masthead 2 weeks late was a lousy way to start, though.

...And All That Jazz

Posted by Thomas J. Brown at 1453 hrs

So, version 3 is =finally= online.

It took me a while, but I'm pretty happy with it. I guess I'm mostly just happy to have it done (that's one website I can check off my list of sites to worry about right now). Let's see, all the sites I'm working on are (in no particular order (some of them aren't online yet)):

alifelessordinary.com
blueflameproductions.com
kurtzinthere.com
momolomo.com
instantloser.com
minimumwageproductions.com
johnemusic.com (though I can hardly say any work is being done on it)

I think that's about it. I can't think of any others, anyway.

As for the webcam being offline, I just moved, so it's in a box somewhere. In fact, it may not even be in any of my boxes; it may be up at my parents' house. In any event, I'll dig it out and set it up in the next couple of weeks (I have to finish unpacking and go up to my parents' house, anyway).

As for things in my life (you know, since I haven't posted here in a while), Morah and I are still together. We just moved in to a flat on the South Hill of Spokane and this place is =nice=. They just finished building it, so no one has lived in it yet and everything is brand-spanking-new. It's also just a few minutes bike-ride away from FOX (where I work). We've been in the new flat for about a week now and just yesterday got cable Internet hooked up. I was elated, of course, because it's been a pain in the ass not having 24 hour high-speed Internet access. It's also one of the reasons my site fell into such disrepair. As for my computer, it may need replacing. I'm hoping to do a full format and reinstall this weekend.

Morah and I have a trip to Hawaii planned that we're looking forward to. We're going to go to Honolulu in December for eight days. I haven't been to Hawaii since Lauren and I broke up almost five years ago. It's hard to believe that not even five years have passed, yet so much has changed.

Five years ago, I thought I could never go back. I thought there was nothing left for me in Hawaii. Now, I look forward to going back. Perhaps I'll be able to see Lauren again. Perhaps we'll even manage to be friends.

In fact, I'm so positive on going back, Morah and I have talked about moving there. She's currently enrolled in the Med Tech program at Sacred Heart Medical Center here in Spokane. It's a year-long program that will prepare her to take her certification exams, which, if she passes, will allow her to legally work as a Med Tech anywhere in the U.S. (some states (*cough cough* CALIFORNIA *cough*) have their own test that you have to pass on top of the national certification exam). She'll take the test sometime in July or August of 2005 and at that time we'll have to decide where to move.

If we don't move to Honolulu, we'll probably end up in Seattle. I have several friends who live there (quite a few friends, actually) and I love the city. So one of the two is where we'll end up. Ideally we'll be able to have two weeks or so of freedom from work so that we can move and relax for a bit before we have to go back to the drudgery of everyday life.

Well, I've rambled on for quite a while, now. It's about time for me to get ready to go home anyway. I hope you like the site and I hope everything works like it's supposed to. If not, eMail me.
