Going on Holiday

Spring break has rolled around, so I'll be out of town all weekend, but don't fret, as there will still be a Friday Funday.

So what exciting things am I doing for spring break? Morah and I are going to Yakima to visit her grandparents for a couple of days. I'm looking forward to the food (her gran is quite the cook). We're also going to try to visit the Dairy Gold cheese factory and go on the (supposedly self-guided) cheese tour.

Then we're headed over to Seattle to visit Kris and Lindy. Morah and I haven't seen their flat yet (they've been living there for how long?) and I haven't seen either of them in quite a while, so I'm excited to see them again. Plus, Kris has my other Telly award, so I need to get that from him.

Morah and I plan on walking around in Seattle and seeing... Well, whatever there is to see. I've never been up to the top of the space Needle (that I'm aware of), so we're going to go do that. We're also going to visit the Science Fiction Museum, which is conveniently located at the base of the Space Needle. We're also hoping to eat a bunch of really good (preferably foreign) food.

Is four days too short? Probably, but we're hoping to go to Japan in August, so I need to save a few of my vacation days for that.
