Changing the masthead 2 weeks late was a lousy way to start, though.

Friday Funday LXXXVI

Posted by Thomas J. Brown at 1439 hrs

Friday Funday brings you some fun and interesting links from my travels around the internet.

Hencam [del.icio.us]
And you thought watching =my= webcam was interesting.

Hay in Art [del.icio.us]
If you think hay isn't an important artistic motif, this site has over five thousand pieces that prove you wrong.

Rowbike [del.icio.us]
This reminds me a lot of the Segway, insofar as it could be cool if you didn't look like so much of an idiot while riding it.

Treehouses [del.icio.us]
When I was a kid, I always wanted a treehouse. I never got one, but to be fair, we never really had a tree that would support one. These aren't just treehouses, they're treemansions.

Ball Toucher [del.icio.us]
Probably not what you think it is. Ironically, you aren't supposed to touch the red balls and the blue balls.

Some may say that Ball Toucher looks like a rip of Squares.

But what are they talking about? Squares is completely different.

In "Ball Toucher", you touch BALLS, not squares.

Yeah, I had thought about it. But come on, how could I not post a game called Ball Toucher? 'Nuff said. -)

I touched 47 balls on the first try - and with a touch pad no less!! Yay for balls!

I am apperently exceptionally good at touching balls. I touched 87.

A trick to Ball Toucher (and Squares) is to only grab the bonuses. Avoid everything else. You can stay small that way.

Of course, it takes a lot longer and removes a lot of fun from the game, but if your goal is to score highly (rather than, say, have fun), there you go. ^_^

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the music.

Well - I tried Phoenix's way of playing but my sheer boredom lead to me killing myself just to end the misery! I did reach 7,373 points however!! I think I'll stick to try to reach 130 balls.
