Friday Funday brings you some fun and interesting links from my travels around the internet. Funday links will open in a new window.

Here’s some swine flu-related humor for you.

CSI: Miami’s take on Swine Flu

My favorite part is the double-sunglasses. I may have only seen one episode of this show, but I can attest to this comic’s accuracy.

Should I Be Worries About Swine Flu?

Title says it all.

Do I Have Pig Flu?

Do you think you might have swine flu? This site should help.

Do I Have Swine Flu?

Don’t believe that last link? Try this one.

Swine Flu Irony

I came up with this idea yesterday.

  1. Ahh the joys of unabashed health hysteria. Don’t get me wrong I know that a possible swine flu pandemic is a serious subject, but come one if it’s not one thing that’s going to kill you it’s another.

  2. Re: Caruso:

Yo dawg I heard you like sunglasses…

Some of the comments from Digg (in reply to “was he putting sunglasses ON his sunglasses?!”):

    2. Actually, he was already wearing two pairs. He was putting on the third.

OK, so that comic is originally from Bigger Than Cheeses. It gets copied by people all the time with new words, but that’s the original.

I have never seen CSI Miami, but I have seen the Endless Caruso One-Liners.

And since I have you here, don’t forget the Caruso Method flowchart.

Re: Should I Be Worried About Swine Flu Bacon Lung?:

I’m a little worried that the site is in ALL CAPS. I feel like it’s yelling at me!

Speaking of Bacon Lung, more names were suggested on Slashdot recently:

    Space Herpes

    Kung Flu

Pandemic Influenza Germ (or P.I.G. flu)

ManBirdPig Flu (swine flu has properties of human flu, avian flu, and pig flu)

    Re: Swine Flu Irony:

  3. AH! And of course I comment before reading today’s pictures for sad children.

  4. That observation was first made by U.K. Labour MP Sion Simon, and has landed him quite a bit of hot water.

  5. Ah, well, there you go then.
