The IT Crowd Upskirt
Posted by Thomas J. Brown at 1414 hrs
I was goofing around with the animated opening to kick-ass UK show The IT Crowd this morning, when all of a sudden I noticed this:

For a single frame, you can see up cartoon Jen's skirt. The question I'd like answered is: Are we looking at her underpants, or does the carpet match the drapes?
While I'm writing about The IT Crowd, NBC only picked up one comedy this year, and it's an American version of the show. Morah and I love the UK version (we each have the theme song as the ringtone on mobile phones), so we're hoping they don't bollocks up the American one; especially after the whole Coupling debacle.
Even if it is a good version of the show, NBC may not give it a chance. Television networks seem to like to yank good shows that rate a little low in the first few weeks (FOX is notorious for this. One word: Wonderfalls. Brynna knows what I'm talking about).
We're also looking forward to the second season of the UK version, which is currently in post-production. Last night we watched The Haunting of Bill Crouse (s1e5), which, apart from having a fantastic title, is probably the funniest episode so far. Calamity Jen (s1e2) comes in a close second. Or should 50/50 be in second place? I can't decide, they're all so funny! Have you watched the show? Which episode is your favorite?

Actually, the quote is: "Nice screensaver." Then, later in the scene: "I love the way the smoke seems to be coming off the top of it."
